When BLANC opened in Marylebone in 2013, the majority of London’s dry cleaners were soaking garments in perchloroethylene, a chlorinated solvent already banned in California and heavily restricted near residential buildings in France. BLANC replaced it: liquid CO₂ technology, recaptured and reused after every cycle, and wet cleaning with biodegradable detergents. No perchloroethylene, at any stage, ever. Twelve years later, that conviction has not changed.
