Conventional dry cleaning uses perchloroethylene, a solvent that strips the natural oils from wool, dulls silk and weakens thread with every cycle. Blanc uses liquid CO₂ and biodegradable wet cleaning. Over twelve months of fortnightly cleaning the difference is visible in the fabric: the colour holds, the drape holds, and the garment lasts.

Not in SW1X itself. Our Chelsea studio at 85 Lower Sloane Street and our South Kensington studio at 28 Bute Street both border Knightsbridge and are open Monday to Saturday 10am to 7pm. Collection and delivery across Knightsbridge are complimentary.
Yes. Designer and luxury garments are our specialism. Each piece is individually assessed and documented at the Atelier and cleaned without heat or PERC. A supplement of 30% applies for designer labels and 100% for luxury labels.
Standard turnaround is 48 to 72 hours for most items. Leather and accessories take two to three weeks. Anything needing longer is confirmed with you after inspection, before work begins.
We have never used PERC. Liquid CO₂ cleaning works without heat or chemicals and the CO₂ is recaptured and reused; wet cleaning uses biodegradable detergents; ozone treatment uses no chemicals at all.
